01 Event Agenda

The length of your event directly impacts pricing. Understanding your agenda helps us identify the best package to meet your goals. We account for live sketching and on-site time, canvas preparation, and post-event deliverable refinement to ensure your visuals summaries are polished, professional, and ready to share with your audience to add that WOW factor.

02 Event Location

Our Graphic Recorders are locally available in most major U.S cities. However, if a local artist isn’t available, we are happy to travel, making it easy to bring our team to you wherever your event may be. Travel costs for events beyond local markets are added to your total engagement cost without any markup. We always prioritize your budget, handling logistics efficiently to keep expenses as reasonable as possible.

03 Deliverables

Packages include standard image deliverables based on the selected sessions from your event. However, we also offer additional creative deliverables such as event summaries, infographics, sketch time-lapses, and even animated videos to enhance retention, engagement, and overall value of your event.

04 Number of Graphic Recorders

Some events are best served by a single live artist, while larger events with multiple simultaneous sessions or a high degree of complexity may require a team of Graphic Recorders. We recommend the number of artists based on the size, complexity, overall format, and agenda of your event.

How is graphic recording priced?

All Sketch Effect Graphic Recording packages are priced per artist, per day. Packages cannot be split across multiple days. For 2+ event packages, bundle pricing is available. Contact us to request a custom quote.

What is the difference between the Half Day, Full Day, and Extended packages?

The Half Day package includes up to 3 sketches and 3 hours of live capture (5 hours on-site) and is available in local Sketch Effect markets only. The Full Day package, the most popular option, includes up to 5 sketches and 5 hours of live capture (9 hours on-site). The Extended package includes up to 7 sketches and 7 hours of live capture (12 hours on-site) for full-day event coverage.

What does "local markets only" mean for the Half Day package?

The Half Day package is only available in cities where The Sketch Effect has local artists, meaning no travel costs are required. For events in non-local markets, the Full Day or Extended packages apply, and travel costs (flights, lodging, and ground transportation) are added separately.

What is Graphic Recording and why should I use it at my event?

Graphic recording is the practice of visually capturing ideas, conversations, and content in real time using illustration, icons, and text. It helps:

Can I have rehearsals or run-throughs with the artist beforehand?

Yes. Rehearsals or run-throughs that require the artist beyond the scoped on-site time, or on a different day, are billed at $300 per hour. All packages include a pre-event call at no additional charge for goal-setting, logistics, and introductions.

When will I receive the digital files after my event?

High-resolution digital images of all completed graphic recordings are delivered within 2 business days of your event. One round of revisions (spelling, grammar, and minor creative changes) is included at no additional cost.
